Simple, but location makes a difference

Simple hotel, old, with accessibility (although I did not stay in a room adapted, say that only from the reception, breakfast area and bedroom), with excellent location. In the center, there are few meters of the main streets like Florida. Next to it is Carrefour 24h. If you don't want something sophisticated, it's a good choice, again, basic hotel. Near the Casa Rosada, Madero (I did everything walking). Basic care, I did not need much interaction with the employees. For a fee, they schedule a transfer and/or return airport.

It covers the basics

This hotel is centrally located, a couple of blocks from the Obelisk and the Piedras subway station. From there you can walk to most must see places like: Cafe Tortoni, Casa Rosada, Plaza de Mayo, Congress, Calle Florida, Mercado San Telmo, and Puerto Madero.
There's also a Supermaket steps from it and I felt generally safe in the area, except for a couple of rough-sleepers close by the entrance but I had no issues, even at night.
I stayed in a single room, with no outside view but it was ok, offering the basics I needed. The hotel is clean, safe, has small and slow elevators but I was fine. I didn't have breakfast there but it's offered for convenience.

Hotel is located in downtown where it is convenient to take public transit. Lots of food choices around the area. The room has a damp smell but it is big enough for 2-3 people to share and the price is good. You pay what you get. The receptionist was helpful.

worst nightmare

Room was horrible. all the pictures on the website are about 100 years old. the towels were used. The toilet bowl was loose and a lot of water was leaking onto the floor, no one fixed this. view from the room horrible. and the air conditioning was really old and loud
