Amazing service! The receptionist was very kind and helpful. The room attendants as well. No problems staying there. Affordable and the rooms were more than expected! Will stay there again. Would definitely recommend to others.

What a dissapointment

I will keep this short.
Staff good, hotel terrible. This hotel resembles a Kuta, Bali hotel from the 80's. With its decor and cockroaches ready to saddle, Gym that is dungeon like and the pool and rooms under demolition and renovation.
You can mentally prepare for this if informed, however to arrive at the hotel and be told to walk to the Cairns Esplanade lagoon for a swim, was pretty rich.
So to confirm, I was not told of any of the renovations or areas decommissioned until check in. Not at booking, not leading up to dates, only at check in.
The 'three' minute walk to the lagoon... who ever said that must have better legs than me... Not even close to three minutes.
I travel regularly to Cairns on business and stay at Ramada hotels Australia wide. I can handle the room, its tired but OK. However the lack of information on demolition, construction and pool area decommissioned is unacceptable.
I am waiting for a response from Ramada, watch this space.

This hotel actually is a motel on a construction site . Below Average.

This motel is very run down with paint and plaster pealing off . No locker or phone in the rooms. The internet is very poor all over . The breakfast is the same everyday. No change at all . Cockroaches spotted . The place is understaffed . Construction materials lying all over the. Not apt if on holiday.

Breakfast was purchased through vouchers at reception for $20. The restaurant obviously not run by the hotel management.
8am breakfast was in bain maries but cold. Selection of food was quite good but bordering on dangerous forvthe hot foods.
Tables had not been cleared, the lady started to clear as we left at 9am.
Toilets were dirty. Do not recommend eating there.
