We had a good stay at the travel lodge. The hot breakfast was good and the kids enjoyed the pool area

This is in a great location, but it’s definitely a dated hotel. The carpets are stained, wallpaper peeling and falling off the walls and the hot tub shut out of order. The staff was all very friendly but we had kids running by our door until 130am no matter how much we or our neighbours complained. There should be a set quiet time and someone to enforce it. Probably wouldn’t stay again as you want a vacation to be restful.

We received a room that was one of the oldest rooms in the hotel. Even though during our stay the hotel was 75% vacant. The bathroom had mold on the tiles, rust around the tub and the room smelled musty. And our toilet was broken and not flushing and we brought it up to front night staff - she suggested to giving us a key to another room to use for the toilet.... I had my young son with me- I wasn't going to send him in another room to use the bathroom alone. So we took the toilet lid off and manually flushed everytime.... Very frustrating and very inconvenient. I was in town for business and brought my son and husband with me. When I talked to the staff about my issues and then asked for a glass (for my wine) I was told " we are not a full service Hotel" .... !!
I don't know why paying $180 for the night that I would possibly expect a full service hotel!.... Unbelievable... The next morning when I told the staff what happened they said they would have upgraded or changed my room- Normal expectancy I think....

The temperature in the room was down on 15 degrees, cold enough to freeze you, the mattress was sagged in the middle and you had trouble getting out of the bed and the water in the shower was lukewarm. Not a great experience for the money!!!

The hotel is clean and the beds are comfortable. The hotel is aging and you can tell it desperately needs some upkeep as paint is peeling off the walls and the carpet is all stained up, but the beds are clean. No sign of pests and the service is on point! We were disappointed as we booked due to there being a pool and hottub along with continental breakfast however when we arrived, we were told the pool is closed for renovations as is the kitchen. This information would have been important when picking the hotel. The hotel did however provide us a bag with a juice box and a muffin and fruit. Not what we expected but it was considerate considring breakfast is supposed to be included. Again, the staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. A bit pricey though considering the ameneties promised are out of commission.
