I planned a family trip close to Shanghai and this Hotel was an excellent choice for a calm, relaxing family stay.
However, I have particularly chosen this hotel because it was stated as *pets are allowed for request(free) and I booked a Queen room with lake view. As I arrived this hotel, it turns out that I had to upgrade my booking to a Pet room which wasn’t featured in trip.com website so I had to pay approx 1000 rmb per night for my dog. The pet room had a balcony with a little grass but I kept thinking that it should have been clearly informed or stated. So if you plan to stay here with your pet, bearing in mind the total cost for a pet room will be around 2400rmb inc.VAT.
Nevertheless the hotel is nicely located with a good lake view and the short trip around Dongqian lake was not bad. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel for a pet owner though. If you have children this hotel might be a good choice.

A Hilton in the Dongqian Lake area

Hilton Ningbo Dongqian Lake is located in the Dongqian Lake area. The area is being developed with a bicycle trail around the Dongqian Lake. It is a bit far from the Ningbo City Center and various other attractions, and is about 4km to the nearest subway station.
As a Hilton Diamond Elite, I was upgraded to a room with lake view. I was told that all suite has been sold out. My room is fairly spacious, with a small sitting area.
The hotel offers free breakfast buffet for Hilton Gold/Diamond Elite. The buffet is standard fare, with some highlight includes free squeezed watermelon juice and seafood noodles.
Hilton Ningbo Dongqian Lake is one of the few Hilton resort hotels that offers statement credit for Hilton Aspire card. The statement credit does post fairly quickly after the stay.

Very good, will stay again next time, recommended!!

Hilton Ningbo Hua Mao Hotel impressed me! The hotel is elegant, the rooms are spacious and bright, the facilities are well equipped and modern, especially the beds are very comfortable, people sleep well overnight. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and felt the care from check-in to check-out. Breakfast was excellent and the food was delicious. Ideally located, Zhou is Dongqian Lake, suitable for both business and tourism. Recommended this hotel, will definitely choose this place next time you come to Ningbo!

This hotel is perfect. The front desk sister is super nice, the room is clean bed is super comfortable, breakfast is huge rich, the location is super convenient, push! This hotel will be available again next time!

A perfect experience.

The service, facilities and views are perfect! The staff are very welcoming and attentive, and feel attentive from check-in to check-out. The facilities are modern and complete, the rooms are spacious and comfortable, the bedding is soft, the bathrooms are clean and tidy, the most amazing is the view of the hotel, the window is the stunning sea view (or mountain view), the morning and evening views are delightful. Whether it's relaxing or a photo shoot, it's ideal and worth a punch!
