A stay beyond what we thought
The reception staff very friendly and willing to help you in everything you would need.
One night we didn't feel like going out we went down to the bar with the intention of having a drink and were told there was only room service. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food we ordered. Exceeded our expectations
Definitely a highly recommended hotel if traveling in Colmar.
It is not cheap but I understand that this Christmas time prices are more expensive.
Incidentally, although we discovered it late there is a bus stop at the same door so you do not need to pay taxi to go from the station to the hotel

Sauna unavailable
However on this occasion, after paying for the accommodation, only then did I get a notification via booking.com that the sauna is unavailable this moment. Their policy clearly states that it's unavailable from Feb 2025.
Beware, if booking this hotel at this time and you are expecting to use the sauna. We have used it and really liked it, and were looking forward to using it during our stay. Had we been notified when we originally booked our room, we would have reconsidered our hotel.
