Excellent stay
Warm and friendly welcome.
Comfort room very clean and breakfast there is everything you need to treat our taste buds.
The edge of the Spa is incredible.
Beautiful moment of relaxation.
Also visit the city of Châteaudun

Relatively weird welcome. The front desk guy is ranting about his software, his employees. It is not very welcoming.
The mattress too soft.
Pros: the setting (nice home) and the institute next door (pleasant for a relaxing stay)

Disappointing
We were offered a box and we took 1 additional night at 199€ with breakfast and 50€ upgrade without having asked but until then we are not going to say anything shocking
When we arrived, we received a very cold welcome and were told that we were in the annex but no one accompanied us. No problem, we book in a castle and we meet under the roof but it’s cute
First night trash not emptied and room cleaned very roughly bathroom not cleaned
Second night bathroom still not cleaning the same traces of soap on the sink and on the mirror plus I think the vacuum cleaner was broken because the parquet and carpets were not cleaned throughout the stay. In the morning we came down 15 minutes before the breakfast time because we wanted to enjoy our day but impossible to have even a coffee because it wasn't ready!
So ok it was a box which in total with the additional night worth around €500
If you do not want the boxes, it is better to refuse rather than welcoming customers in this way
It’s a real shame because the place is magnificent but the service is not up to par.
