Exceptional charming chateau perfect for a relaxing break during a long travel

Super charming building with an outstanding service. Pauline and Thomas were very friendly and we felt like home. Delicious breakfast with fresh French croissants and regional products. Very big rooms with super comfortable beds. Also a nice garden where you can come to rest with a nice drink. One word: super!

Peace, atmosphere and freedom beckon you to chateau Melay!

Nice place to completely relax or as a transit stop on the way to the south.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner were very tasty and well prepared. There is a relaxed atmosphere, children can also have a great time there, swimming pool, playhouse, ping-pong table available!
Young owners with a sense of taste in the furnishings, especially the chateau feeling!

Great and hospitable accommodation!

Chateau Melay a great accommodation with a nice charm! It is a very relaxed and quietly located B&B. Despite its quiet location, it is a good stopover for a trip to the South. It is a special place and very nicely renovated. Spacious rooms with wonderful beds! But the delicious flavors of dinner (Tip, Thomas is a good cook so be sure to book dinner!) also completed our holiday.
Thomas and Pauline are themselves and very hospitable. We quickly felt at home. Little Otis also made us and our son laugh regularly ;) Our son turned 1 year old this holiday, for which Thomas and Pauline prepared a super sweet birthday breakfast.
We stayed for 7 nights. A stay of at least 2 nights is highly recommended, even when you are passing through. This offers the opportunity to better discover the area and the chateau itself. From a leisurely stroll in the village to exploring the wider local area, there is plenty to see and do. We made trips to Dijon, Langres, Nancy and Besancon ourselves. The immediate area around Melay is wonderfully quiet and there is a lot to see by walking or cycling, the landscapes are beautiful. This is also a beautiful area with a racing bike, with little traffic.
We will be back again this summer. We are secretly looking forward to that. Until next time!

Very disappointing experience

What a hysterical bunch. Wow, terrible, never experienced such idiotic mebs before. It's on the pro bag and it is noticeable. I would say; drive around it in a wide arc. Go straight to a hotel. Better service, better food and nicer rooms.

Noble

We enjoyed one overnight stay in Château Melay with Thomas and Pauline. It was worth repeating: a tastefully decorated room and a hospitable welcome! The château exudes a noble atmosphere. We didn't have to leave the house for dinner: Thomas cooked a delicious meal and the breakfast was also excellent.
