A romantic meal for Mother’s Day
Delicious dishes beautifully presented
Impeccable and warm service
A superb balcony setting above the Seine

Too bad...

Location, personnel, bedding , hygiene at the top! Big downside watch building by definition sound insulation non-existent on rooms 6 and 7! (I imagine the others are the same) Facing the Seine our friends the geese and ducks we sing it easy! on 4 nights spent only 1 or I could actually sleep because alone in the hotel between a very loving couple who did not hesitate to remember it several times in the night, another whose snoring was unbearable and omnipresent the creaking of floors the air conditioning that has the merit of being there but which makes a constant purr and I go on... At 170€ per night it is simply unacceptable! My advice provide you with high performance noise caps if possible! otherwise the nights will be very long.... Too bad it was the detail that ruined my stay!
However a little dedication to the young woman of the reception with a smile on her face and always benevolent!

nous sommes désolés que vous ayez été dérangé pendant votre séjour, effectivement la chambre 6 et 7 sont 2 chambres communicantes, assez proches et effectivement si des personnes sont très bruyantes même si l isolation est correcte ( murs doublés en BA18 )vous serez dérangé.....
si vous avez un souci, dès le premier soir, vous pouvez nous en faire part afin que l on trouve une solution, si l hotel n est pas complet nous pouvons vous changer de chambre

Room could be slightly updated and the amount of stuff in the hotel's public areas reduced. Traffic noise disturbs sleeping.

Initial appearance is a bit dated and tired but the rooms are spacious & clean and the beds & pillows are very comfortable, shower is good too.
Location is right next to back entrance of train station and 5 minutes from town centre.
