Great location

We got a junior suite and the size of the room is good with a small kitchen/dining room. The room that we got had a great view facing the mountains too. The hotel is well situated with the mountains & Citadelle de Sisteron within a short walk from the hotel. There was a carpark right outside the hotel which is very convenient too. We encountered some language issues with the front desk staff but that wasn’t much of an issue with the help of google translate.
The room offered basic amenities and toiletries (eg towels, shower gel, TV) but the cleanliness of the toilet can be improved. Do also note that the room did not have AC and only had a ceiling fan, but the weather was very cooling, so a fan was more than sufficient for us. The bedding was acceptable with clean sheets. Overall it is a simple hotel and is definitely worth it for the amount that we paid.

A slightly old waiter doesn't focus on his work

We waited a while before the manager came to serve us the last time I was gone for the same reason but I had never been served and he spends his time outside he refused even to make me my cappuccino

Family bistro

We came to lunch without reservation. The setting is correct, the service is fast, the food is hearty but not at all delicious. I appreciate the calm and the view of the Durance. Too bad there are flies on the window.

I was told the check-in time would be 14:00 and it turned out to be 15:00, and the room was lacking tissues in the dispenser and was quite hot. But the location is stellar, so overall I really appreciated my stay.

Picturesque Inn on panorama la Durance

Positive: Pension is at the entrance of Sisteron in the direction Lyon south, ONE night (100€) plus breakfast 11€/person (optional)
The Inn offers an exceptional panorama of the Durance,
Everything can be done on foot from the Inn, interesting local walks, entire village, the Citadel, many GR nearby
Equipped with a small elevator for one person so big suitcases,
Comfortable and clean bedding, 4 pillows, very small space,
The dining room very nicely decorated, mix of modern and old, some tables overlooking the Durance, neat service, choice at breakfast, not breakfast on site...
Pension is located on the right street, and pedestrian of restaurants, pizzerias, craft shops, arts and creation, newspapers, souvenirs, local products, nothing is missing ... very village atmosphere, cobblestone street, I recommend the restaurant ''the sofa'' of superior quality in all respects
The citadel of Sisteron to visit, and hiking and mountain biking routes all around, varappe wall (climbing) on the ''rock'' emblem of the place, wonderful
Negative: The Pension is geographically on the Durance, but at the exit of a bend, without light, and badly indicated, moreover, the Pension car park just outside the entrance contains only 20 spaces, a 2nd car park 200 m is free,
Inn on the light room finish side, a bit vintage (shower tiles, bedroom skirtings, some work to be planned) moreover work was in progress on some rooms, details despite everything
Toilet sany grinder... in a bathroom (shower) TINY
