Not recommended - poor price – performance ratio
Unfortunately, we were wrong.
Conclusion: 1 star/day....
Rooms:
The room was large, 2 large windows. But since on the ground floor and overlooking the street or building on the other side that was only partially helpful to brighten the dark room. Furniture ok, of the simple, boring kind.
The bathroom was more modern, but lacked a storage space.
The light itself with a vanity mirror was so murky that the make-up carried the risk of leaving the room as a clown.
Thermalbad:
Great the bathrobe walk to the adjacent thermal bath.
It is just a public bath and accordingly well attended. Nice sauna area, nice outdoor pool for swimming
Catering:
We had booked half board.
Already for breakfast it had to be ticked when you wanted to have dinner:
5:30 or 7:30. So either or, not something from to.
And if you came to the assigned table earlier (the same table for the entire time), you were allowed to wait and wait and wait - best to try to get drinks at the bar right away, then you already have them once.
To tick off for breakfast was also what you wanted to eat. There were 4 dishes to choose from: Meat, Fish., Vegetarian, Vegan. Starters were served as buffets. The offer rather boring and qualitatively questionable, the salads presented unlovingly. Sausage and cheese seemed to be the leftovers from breakfast: the sausage had partly rolled up edges, the cheese dried on. Also buns were sometimes rock hard. The young and consistently friendly staff was overwhelmed. We suspect they were mostly trainees. The restaurant manager showed up for the first time after two days. That didn't help either. The dirty dishes we carried ourselves partly somewhere, because the covering did not work. The negative crowning glory was New Year's Eve, from miserably protracted draws of raffle tickets to completely disorganized service. We - and many of our fellow guests - were served the main course, which had been announced for 9 pm, around 23(!). And this probably only because various guests had tried several times to inquire about the whereabouts of the food. The restaurant manager - who was primarily involved in reading lot numbers - walked around with a face that could hardly be beaten in terms of unkindness. Directly addressed, she explained that the bonsystem (to the kitchen) had failed.
But since you had to communicate your food wishes not only for breakfast, but also in the evening, the number of dishes and allocation to the tables should have been clear.
The event was a disaster. This was independent of the fact that the question of the non-profit organization to which the money for the lots would be donated led to a very vague answer “needy families or something.” Hon soit qui mal y pense.
The drinks turnover would have been a considerably better one if the guests had been asked about their drinks wishes accordingly early or would have come to the table from time to time to inquire about the state of affairs. The question of a wine list also resulted in a service person putting the copied note in my hand again, which was already on the table. There, however, the significance of the wine offer was very moderate. The quite existing wine list, which was located in another area, was not provided in any case. The same question, addressed to the restaurant manager, on New Year's Eve, resulted in the patty answer of what I wanted. When I told her I just wanted to see the offer, she said she still had a Müller-Thurgau. Growing area, winery, etc. Misrepresentation. I then let it go.. there were also problems with the checkout system for recording the drinks, which could either be paid in cash or written to the room. So you are well advised to stall yourself after what you have ordered or to pay best directly. Usually, the invoice is presented on departure with the respective restaurant receipts behind it so that the guest can check whether this is correct. We were given a total amount to pay. Only then was an invoice printed. However, the appendix to this was not transparent about what we had consumed and when. We took it that way. The last of the whole stay then somehow put on the crown again. We can recommend this hotel, certainly not on these terms. The fact that the respective napkin dishes of the main course on the evening were also still little extensive or tiny may be there. It didn't bother us too much. But there may be guests for whom this might also have been a criterion.

Hotel great, food needs catching up
The room was great, the bathrobe corridor is always a pleasure - even if the thermal baths close relatively early.
