Mediocre

Stayed one night in a triple room. Room not clean, bathroom with broken toilet roll holder, shower and dirty shower door rail. We slept at the rear, which saved a lot of traffic noise. Parking near the hotel is possible along the public road, although in daylight it turned out that the hotel has its own parking lot at the rear. Hotel is located in an area with offices etc, far from the center, not a nice area. We did not have breakfast here. Considering this was one of the cheapest hotels in Hamburg with private sanitary facilities per room when we visited Hamburg, the price-quality ratio was only just 5.5.

So far okay

The hotel looks much more upscale on the internet than it actually is. When you get there, you get the impression that the furniture in the rooms was taken away when someone cleared out a house. They tried to make the accommodation look luxurious, but the execution was flawed.
In the room we found an empty flower vase and two dirty glasses (one still had lipstick on it). The sink cabinet was demolished, curtains partially torn from the rail, soap dispensers were leaking and running down the sink and shower. The ventilation was also black with dust.
On the morning of our departure, we had no electricity in the room, which we pointed out to the receptionist. He just grinned and asked if I had used the hairdryer in the bathroom. That alone was a strong statement. When I answered no, he just shrugged his shoulders and said "I don't know". Yeah, that was the end of the matter for him.
Otherwise, it was totally fine for just staying overnight. I wouldn't pay the full price for this (we only booked because of an offer), it really isn't justified.
However, the good bus connection to the center (stop about 3 minutes on foot) as well as the pretty reception area and the friendly lady at the reception on the day of our arrival are definitely positive aspects.

Fair

The hotel was easy to find, staff were quite friendly, especially the young lady on reception in the evening.
The room was fairly standard; the bed didn’t fit the room so was on a diagonal and the bathroom I’m sure was bigger than the actual room.
The shower doors didn’t work as they should so all the water went onto the floor- nothing I could do to stop it.
Nice mirror in bathroom with light up magnified mirror built in.
Drinks a reasonable price. Didn’t have breakfast.
Quite far from Hamburg centre but the tube made it a little more doable.

The Worst hotel i'v ever stayed in but was cheaper and served it's purpose.

I just needed one night here for a quick stop over.
I was so tired i just slept and that was it so for that it served its purpose.
First of all i waited at reception for 15mins plus before someone came, and there was no bell to ring. My room was so oddly decorated i just didn't get it? the bathroom smelt like cigarettes. And the shower door served no purpose. Water ran everywhere, and i basically flooded the room but i couldn't do anything about it because i needed a shower and if the room isn't designed properly then it isn't my problem.
There was no breakfast that i know of? and when i checked out in the early hours as i had to get a flight no-one was at reception again to give my key, so i just left it on the side?

Hauntingly good

Very friendly staff, me and my friends were allowed to drop our bags at the hotel before checking in so we could explore the city without extra weight. Clean room, clean bathroom and overall very hygienic. Flat screen on the room was a great add, we connected it to our phone and watched movies!
A downside of this room, room number 3, is that there's noises coming from under the bed. Lots of noise coming from outside too.
When making pictures with flash, me and my friend found a lot of orbs on the results.
Haunted room maybe?
