Comfortable, cozy

Clean, cozy, quiet room. Very comfortable! It's a nice bed. Very delicious breakfast, lots of choices! Good coffee. Very pleasant and responsive staff. Quiet at night, not stuffy. You can get a good night's sleep. The room has a refrigerator and a minibar, included in the price. I recommend it! Nice hotel in the heart of the city!

Unrestrictedly recommended

The location is perfect: Pedestrian street, castle, restaurants - all within walking distance. The whole staff is super friendly and competent; problems are fixed immediately - in my mother's single room the air conditioning was broken and repaired the same day (Saturday!).
The rooms are small but clean and have everything you need. The balcony by the single room is huge and furnished. There is also a fridge that is filled with drinks for free. The bed is perfect and comfortable.
Breakfast is sumptuous and exceptional: Everything fresh and for every taste : soft eggs, fresh scrambled eggs, bread, rolls, hot croissants, fresh fruit, juice, cold cuts, cheese, tomatoes, cucumber and much more.
The underground garage is large even if the driveway is a bit narrow.
The price for room, breakfast and garage is very cheap.
We stayed at this hotel for the second time and will come back.

Nice and comfortable hotel

Well located, within walking distance of many restaurants. The hotel has its own parking garage. The breakfast is tasty and extensive, nothing to criticize. Plus, the contents of the minibar are included in the price. Air conditioning was quite noisy and did not work so well.

A hotel to feel good

In terms of ambience, it's an average mid-range hotel, but there are a few things that make the Ambassador special: free minibar (4 drinks per day are offered and refilled), the staff is very friendly (with one exception on arrival, but maybe she was just having a bad day, everyone's entitled to that). I was absolutely thrilled with the breakfast buffet. Be sure to book one, it's worth it. We also had a balcony room, which is available at no extra charge. Nice, quiet location facing the back courtyard. We didn't hear the other guests, even though the hotel seemed almost fully booked (judging by the number of fellow travelers at breakfast).
The parking option for €10 in the underground car park is also very practical and cheap.
If we stay in Karlsruhe again, we'll definitely stay here again.

Surprisingly good breakfast

We, 5 girls, didn't expect too much. Just a normal middle class hotel. That was it too. Simple but functional and clean rooms, friendly designed. But the breakfast really needs to be mentioned. It was sensationally varied. Everything is there, from fresh fruit to organic spreads and oat milk. No cheap food, but a lovingly put together breakfast buffet with friendly service!
