I like to "park" again in the park hotel

Very friendly reception at the reception, a nice, well equipped, quiet room where I felt comfortable during my (short) stay. The breakfast offer was very good and so I will gladly come back at Gelgenheit!
PS.: My forgotten shaver was sent to me very quickly after transfer of the postage costs. Thank you for that!

Hotel too noisy and room not up to the standard of a 4 star hotel

We stayed at the hotel for one night on the weekend. We had a standard double room in the main house. Room and bathroom were clean but they were old and for the price we would have expected something else. The hotel is noisy, and as there was a busy night, sleeping was unthinkable. The breakfast was great and the service very good.

Does what it says on the tin!

The hotel is well located, with plenty of cheap parking nearby. The rooms are adequate - we stayed in the basic room. When I asked about a room with air con I was advised that would be an additional 30 euros per night which seemed excessive and we declined. The swimming pool / sauna / wet room area was excellent and was well used by residents. Provision of towelling robes was welcomed. Free water in mini bar and free use of room safe are good touches. The hotel clearly is pitched at business / conference level but as a holidaying couple we found it a good choice. The bar area is a little soulless, with music ending very early. There is no bar staff and no draught beer, but we survived! Staff were very nice and friendly. All in all a perfectly acceptable hotel, just don't be expecting any "craic" as we Irish say!

A comfortable home away from home

I’ve stayed here twice. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is warm and helpful, the breakfast buffet is large and varied. It’s a short walk from the train station and from the center of Landau. The restaurant balcony has colorful flower baskets and a view of the park and small lake.
