Recommendation, wonderful hotel

Wonderful hotel, friendly and helpful staff, the room was standard size normal, large bed equipped with two pillows, one soft and one a little harder. The only flaw of the room, few areas to put suitcases or clothes and absence of mini bar.! Small bathroom but for what you need of right size. A 5 min walk from Ostbahnof station where you can take transport to the main station hbf. Right in front of the hotel you can take the bus to the center that you reach in a few minutes, walk 30-35 min but still not too far. We did not use breakfast because it was not included but we used the bar and the outdoor lounge which I found relaxing and wonderful. I highly recommend staying at this hotel.

The reception staff was very friendly and nice. I chose Ost station for my last day's stay because the main station feels unsafe and uncomfortable, and also one stop nearer to Munich airport.

Gladly again

Value for money was okay. Breakfast delicious for the price. Park garage available. Central location, very clean & modern. Staff were friendly. From other, cheaper hotels I know kettle & water bottle in the room but is okay without. Fluffy towels, quiet & not clairvoyant & especially very dark in the room

Staff- hit or miss, Location-great

The only good staff we encountered in this hotel was the Blanka, Mr. Reyes (of Hispanic descent at front desk) and the kind sir who helped us fix our shower head.
On our second day, the shower head broke, and when we first reported it to one of the lady front desk, she told us to wait until the afternoon for someone to come and fix it without any urgency shown at all.
We came back down again and made sure we spoke to Blanka, knowing how responsive she was, and as expected she was the one who tried to settled it asap for us.
The room was ok, but we hated the layout of the bathroom mainly because the floor was always wet and cold.
Basic amenities not available such as dental kits. No cups/saucer/cutleries, coffee machine/kettle in the room. No bathroom slippers.
The pillows and bed were comfortable for us and the balcony was a nice touch and would've preferred to enjoy it in a colder weather.
Another thing was the AC Wasn't cold and we went in the Summer, but since we were out most of the time we chose to make do with it instead of experiencing the hassle of moving to another room etc.

Good hotel and fantastic breakfast buffet.

We have used a Motel One hotel before, and our experience in Munich was similar to the previous one: good room with a fantastic bed and a neat, modern bathroom. Again, we noticed that the room is very small, especially compared to hotels in the same price range. It would have helped a lot if a storage cupboard had been placed where there is now a shelf only.
Unfortunately, a somewhat grumpy lady was there when we checked in, but otherwise we thought the service was good.
Exceptionally good, however, was the breakfast : without a doubt the best breakfast of our entire holiday. A huge range of tasty (often organic) products, delicious fresh rolls, yogurt with different types of grains, etc. Perfect!
The direct location of this hotel may not be very inspiring, but the hotel is conveniently close to the station and not too far from the pleasant Haidhausen district with its countless cosy streets, restaurants and coffee bars.
