Nice hotel

Great hotel right in the centre of Bari, on main shopping street. Not far from the old town also. I arrived at 10.30pm and told booking.com what time I was due to arrive. I arrived and couldnt get in no hotel staff from late afternoon. I rang them and the guy turned up 10 minutes later but I would have appreciated instructions before I travelled. Nice clean room, no hot water one night for the shower.

From the photos and first impressions it seems like a nice and welcoming place, but then noticing the details you realize that it's terrible. The location is excellent, but there are old iron windows with shutters (rather than shutters or shutters), so you can hear all the noises and voices from the street (luckily I had brought earplugs). There was a guy singing under the window all afternoon! The rooms are not soundproof, you can hear everything from the next room. There are only short blackout curtains, (you pull them on one side and they open on the other). Cold room, there is only an old noisy and dirty air conditioner behind the curtains. Cracked mattress. Electrical sockets and hanging shelves. Empty fridge, without even a bottle of water. Nice bathroom, but the shower must be quick otherwise the hot water runs out. The hairdryer only emits cold air and not hot air. No one welcomed me upon arrival, nor did anyone show up at check-out, they did not provide the necessary information and directions (breakfast, check-in/out times, keys). In summary the only positive notes are: size and cleanliness of the room and the location. For the rest the room needs a lot of maintenance and the manager needs a training course.

A mess .....the bathroom has nowhere to hang towels and towels ..there is no glass ........nowhere to rest anything ....the bathing water comes out for the room finally a theft .....the sunken mattress.....missing pillows...only two there are .....we arrived and there is no tel vision .....broken cable......the coffee maker without coffee .....no cup to drink something a tea at least .....no Spanish .....very sad ....very disappointment ......hope the platforms sanction this type of places.......a good thing the location no more......pobrisimo

AVOID!!

Seriously guys, this is a place to avoid, looking nothing like photos and terrible in all ways.
Firstly it’s not luxury in any way! The check in is horrible and the staff rude making us wait 15 minutes outside building before even coming in.
The place is a tiny cramped attic, and the bathroom is dirty and terribly small. The whole experience was so disgusting and cheap, despite the fact it costs a decent amount of money to stay here! DO NOT stay here.
HOT WATER LASTS IN SHOWER ONLY 2 minutes !!
They have ruined a beautiful old building and a great location with an absolutely abysmal hotel.
Disliked · Hotel is absolutely terrible. Staff, checkin, bathroom, tiny cramped small and ugly. Kitchen there but doesn’t work.

We booked in to stay at this property, it was all confirmed then the afternoon we went to check in, the lady at the property passed the phone to my partner and the manager of the property advised we would be moving to a different property, due to previous guest breaking the bathroom ! I saw this already on another review from another guest months ago. Basically the property frauded us, they just wanted to book guests direct to make more money. We were dropped off at an apartment, very small room, unsecure balcony and also the bathroom was dirty, piss still unflushed in toilet.
Also breakfast was not included and we paid for breakfast. Property did not compensate us rightfully. My partner got confused with the room and our key accidently opened up another room ! This means all rooms were not secure as all keys could unlock all rooms. We paid 100 euro for the night and the property they put us in was not even worth 50 euro
Property didn’t do anything to help us and ignored our requests
I will never book through this hotel again ! Terrible service absolutely disgusting, I have worked in the travel industry for over 10 years and have never seen anything more appalling
