Just a very nice, pleasant, calm good place to stay . All age group , very nice people. Safe - 👍 the way you run a hostel with the best good vibes . Very very well done ☺️

Ok for cheap accommodation, not suitable for allergy sufferers

Is for a cheap accommodation fully in order. The team is accommodating and the atmosphere friendly. The garden is cozy. But I found the bathroom dirty, and we couldn't adjust the air conditioning (it was too warm there). Many cats and rabbits are walking around, so I do not recommend the hostel to people with allergies.

Our holiday at the Hopel.

I stayed at this hotel with my family for 2 nights and now I tell my experience.
I liked the garden and the informal, relaxed and international atmosphere.
I didn't like the cleanliness of the rooms that was a bit superficial.

Lovely place, but personal to review

The Hostel has a gorgeous indoor garden that makes you forget you are in town, perfect for an aperitif. Unfortunately, our experience was ruined by the staff. They told us to stay only in part of the garden because of a yoga class, but we were filmed several times, in rude tones, because we chatted too loudly. A staff girl, curly blonde, was particularly rude. Too bad, because the place is lovely, but the attitude of the staff ruined everything and I left earlier than expected

Nice layout, careful with the taxi company

Quite good rooms - quieter than a lot of hostels as the rooms seem quite sound proof from other rooms, though they are small if you're in a dorm. Nice rooftop terrace and courtyard gardens. Staff: some friendly and some (one) seem judgemental.
Careful with the airport taxi they order for you - I think the Taxi driver they ordered for me scammed me. The driver wouldn't take the money when I tried to pay and started saying I owed him more - the hostel said 22.50, and he said no it was 25 euros because it was nighttime. As it was 4am and I was tired, I wasn't exactly going to start arguing, so I felt taken advantage of. Plus he then tried to give me back the wrong change, and I had to go to his window and ask for the rest of the money. The hostel needs to clarify this with guests, or use a different company.
