Maybe we should conduct disaster prevention training?

Unlike the room in the photo when I booked, the mattress was laid on a raised step instead of a bed, and there was a step, which made it dangerous. The parking lot was multi-level and narrow, so it was difficult to park. The front desk staff were foreign and spoke quickly, so I couldn't understand. The room was far from the front desk, and the bath was also far away. The food was not very good, probably because it included all-you-can-drink (that was all there was at the time of booking), even though we paid more than 40,000 yen per person. The hotel's introduction said there was a chocolate fountain, but there was none. There was an earthquake just before we reached our room, and since we were on the 10th floor, there was no way to escape, so we just stayed still, but there was no announcement in the building, and there was not even a word of gratitude on the way out. I thought this was a hotel that had not been trained for emergencies.

I enjoyed my time at the hotel. There are a variety of activities to do: onsen, billiards, table tennis, and swimming in outdoor pools. I also thought the breakfast buffet was quite comprehensive. Moreover, the view from the hotel is absolutely stunning - we had a view overlooking the river and the trees, with a large balcony. I do think the hotel is far away from the primary attraction in Nikko, Nikko Toshogu, which I think is a must-see. The onsen is nice, and clean, and reasonably priced. I would recommend.

Even though it was raining, I had fun with the kids.

We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights as a family, including children. The view from our room facing the Kinugawa River was great and we had a comfortable stay.
Unfortunately the weather was rainy on and off, but we were able to use the table tennis and billiards in our private rooms without worrying about other people's eyes, which was nice.
The pool, which was crowded during the day, was empty at night, so we had fun!
