The best in Chaves, without a doubt
I had planned to stay three nights at Forte de Sao Francisco, but was so disappointed with it, I ended up switching here. And it was a gamble that paid off.
Gorgeous, huge room - modern and clean, with a properly stocked minibar, spectacular bathroom, spacious balcony and beautiful views. I had a room at the back overlooking the mountains, which was wonderful in daylight but a bit lost in the dark. If you want an interesting nighttime vista, probably best to stay in a room at the front with views of the city in the distance – at least you’d get some twinkling lights.
Two fabulous pools, good breakfast and just the loveliest staff.
And set in expansive, picturesque grounds that could surely be turned into a golf course – much needed in these parts and bound to attract more guests.
Overall, a great escape!

Stay of “winter”
Good insulation in the rooms, rarely heard noise at night. Bath water remains uniform. Comfortable bed. Breakfast is superb.
Indoor swimming pool with adjusted temperature.
Just pointing out that they can improve the “children’s room” because it is noted that there is no investment in this part, but the whole hotel welcomes the children well and there were many.

Fantastic
Its very spacious, quiet rooms, with an excellent bathroom, butooo, the bathtub released some water and retained little water the sink....To be improved.
There is parking outside the private hotel for parking.
Breakfast very well and exquisite dinner of quality and gastronomy.
The hotel’s gambling casino is repeatable, beautiful and with endless gambling machines.

Relax
Located on the outskirts of Chaves, it is ideal to spend a few days relaxing and if the weather permits and you can enjoy the outdoor pool, as was our case, the result is outstanding.
Furthermore, on the day of departure, when we booked the Sunday buffet meal, they offered us a late check-out until 7:00 p.m. at no cost.
