excellent front desk service
modern and clean and comfortable rooms
windows have no screens so mosquitos may sleep with you but each room has effective HVAC.
will return and stay there again!

Would not recommend the hote
On top of this, we mistakenly left one of our room cards in the room. When we returned, the card was missing, and after speaking with the cleaning lady who was just entering our room, we strongly suspect she took it. To our surprise, we were later charged 100 euros for the lost card. This feels completely unfair and unprofessional, as we believe the card was taken during the cleaning process.
Apart from these issues, the hotel itself is decent with a good location, but unfortunately, these problems overshadowed the experience. I would not recommend staying here unless the management addresses these concerns and improves their customer service.

Comfortable stay
Pros:
* The location is very convenient. All the sight seeing is literally at your doorstep. It was very central and not far from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia, etc. The Grand Bazaar and town centre were close by too.
* Staff member - there was one staff member, an elderly gentleman (we did not get his name), he was very nice. He actually took time out of his day to see how we were settling in, our plans in Istanbul and also pointed out local supermarkets which were reasonable in price and did not scam tourists. He was lovely and very welcoming.
* Bathroom - good size. Had shower gels as well as shampoos and were re-stocked as and when needed.
* Kettle and fridge also in the room
* Beds were comfortable
* Free wi-fi
Cons
* On our arrival, we were checked in and them expected to make our way to the second floor ourselves with our bags. No assistance was provided, nor was any info given regarding the breakfast times (which is from 7am to 10am). Whilst we were there, we saw guests who arrived after us being escorted to their rooms with their luggage.
* Wi-fi was quite slow, especially at busy times
* Electricity would go unexpectedly
* Housekeeping was good but not excellent. The cleaning was not done thoroughly like there were still stains on the bathroom sink.
* The walls are very thin to the point that we could hear the next door guests having a conversation. It was like they were in the room with us
* The room windows were also quite thin, so even if the windows were closed, we could hear people outside that were walking past or having drunken conversations. May not be ideal if you are a light sleeper.
* The TV had no remote
* Breakfast times could have been longer
