Fantastic hotel as always. Renea excellent with her continued assistance. Front staff all polite and very helpful. Cleaning staff always there for additional assistance.

I booked the Grand as I have memories of the building when I lived in Birmingham. The building continues to amaze me. Beautiful in design and furnishings. Check in was ok I had to ask several times what time breakfast was , booking restaurant, menus etc . It wasn’t until the following day we found all the information was accessible via the TV in our room. Not once was this mentioned by the staff.
Breakfast was served in the restaurant staff had no idea what they were doing, no guidance from senior colleagues or zoning as most restaurants, this showed itself with the waiters running around not knowing who had ordered what we had to ask for coffe 3 times before a

Lovely rooms, great mini bar with cute little mugs. Comfortable beds but pillows need a refresh.
Breakfast was good- beautiful setting, but timings and temperatures need addressing.
Bar was outstanding. Service overall was very good.

Lovely one night stay with breakfast. Coming back from Cheltenham races we checked in late but Mo on reception was very helpful and put us in a lovely room. Breakfast was great. Am back in a couple of weeks for a conference. Looking forward to it already.
