First time at the Ship inn

We went for a 50th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed our meal and evening in a friendly homely bar/restaurant.the staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs.
We will return soon.thank you all.handy parking at the back of the pub made life easier

Welcoming Inn with great food .

Returned here again last week of September 24 for another stay . The Hosts are so welcoming and the rooms are so comfortable, with all accessories you need .
Our breakfast in the morning was amazing , too much food and they have a fabulous menu for dining in later . All staff & locals very friendly.
A big Thankyou for puting us up at such short notice and we will return again soon .

One night stay

Although we couldn't park in the car park there is one at the back of the pub very cheap. The pub itself was a popular old fashioned one with wonderful staff we had booked two rooms for the night and after checking out the huge reasonable menu decided to have our evening meal there we were amazed with the food. Our rooms were perfect the staff showed us all fire exits as a precaution spot on, beds very really comfortable large room with nice size bathroom. Breakfast was definitely the best we had had in a long time we all had full English with plenty of toast and cereals if wanted. Looking forward to a return visit

Great pub for Sunday roast

A party of 10 visited for Easter Sunday lunch. We all ordered roast dinners which all came out the same time and were hot. There was plenty of meat and vegetables which were cooked perfectly.
Excellent price, quality and the staff were very nice that looked after us.

Wish all pub stays were this good

Quite simply brilliant! We arrived after a 15 mile walk from Salisbury, tired and sweaty. Pub is a cozy, old fashioned style pub but the restaurant menu has a Polish twist and we had a delicious meal with super service before collapsing into lovely comfy beds in a clean room overlooking the high street. Massive breakfast with the same lovely level of service as before. Not a single thing that wasn't great. One of the best places I have stayed in a long while !
