Brambltye hotel

Really charming hotel, we were greeted by Nassia who was very attentive young lady, all of the staff were friendly . The room was clean bed really comfortable , really impressed with the fact that the restaurant was indian and that the owners had saved an hotel and keeping the bar opened for the locals , who were also very friendly, great band played at night, highly recommend and will definitely be going back

Wanted a good manager to take over and sort this place out

Cheap ( £51 a night not including breakfast ) to stay in reasonably clean & comfortable rooms.
Indian food mainly served in the large restaurant- but no one in there eating it ( by all accounts never has a great footfall )
Customer toilets leaking badly ( has been neglected for ages apparently. )
Bar open late , trying to entice punters into the hotel, extending their drinking time , with live music until midnight!
Some of the decor looks tired, or broken ( door on the disused function room for instance)
Don’t quite know what the business wants to be - nightclub? Hotel? Fusion restaurant? It seems to throw it all into the mix and see what pulls in the money.

Wouldn’t recommend

Only booked this because our flight was cancelled and we needed somewhere to stay over. All Gatwick airport hotels were booked up and this seemed one of very few available. Hotel is very run down and shabby. Bags of laundry lying all over stairs and corridors. Bathroom needs a complete overhaul. The whole place needs a complete refurb. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t stay again.

Terrible value for money. £70 for thread bare carpets, mould around bath, stained bed base, laundry stacked in the corridors, lights that turned on and off, intermittently. Kitchen closed so no breakfast, which wasn’t mentioned prior to booking. Maybe worth £35 per night, definitely not £70

Dont stay here if you want any sleep!

A very tired room with two TVs, both don't work, mould in the bathroom and no teaspoons for your cuppa in the morning! I could forgive all that if it wasn't for the thumping music that played until 2am. We weren't told about this and definitely wouldn't have booked a room for myself and my 8 month old baby if we had known. Loud music until 11 would have been acceptable but 2am when the website boasts of 19 quiet rooms. I have emailed and complained but yet to get a response let alone an apology. I highly recommend you stay elsewhere.
