A good location - but expensive

I stayed at the Radisson Blu, London Bond Street for 4 days when I recently visited London to attend a concert. It is in an excellent location with many shops nearby and easy access to Bond Street station. It is also easy walking distance to various concert venues, which is primarily why I chose to stay here.
I was surprised that the hotel classes itself as a “Boutique hotel” as it is clearly part of the chain of “Radisson Blu” and having more than 140 guest rooms automatically precludes it from being classed as “Boutique”. The only real thing that could be considered “boutique” was the very small lift that fits no more than 4 guests at a time – even less with luggage!
The rooms were adequate, but not really worthy of the high cost per night – but I guess one pays for the convenience and the location. The bathroom was spacious and included all amenities needed, but the shower screen was insufficient, and the floor was saturated and extremely slippery after every shower. There were no bed-side lamps and instead the glaring over-head downlights ruined the ambience of the room
Breakfast was plentiful and presented extremely well. There was a choice of buffet or the à la carte menu which provided a reasonable selection. There was not a huge selection of fresh fruit or any yoghurt that I could see.
All in all, it was a pleasant stay – a little on the expensive side, but would consider staying here again should the need arise.

Premium price, average room

Very average room for the price paid. The first thing we noticed was the tired looking carpet in the hallway outside and into our room. There were no lamps on the bedside tables and we didn't have a dressing table just a blank space under the TV. The wall lights were bizarre and sometimes they didn't even work. The phone in our room showed no signs of life (no lights/noise to show it was on). The bathroom looked the part but the shower was old fashioned and was like standing under a dribble. The positives were that it was clean and just off of bond street. The breakfast was fine but I was told by my partner that it was much smaller selection than the other Radissons he had been to. If this had been a Travelodge and only paid £65 it would have been fine but we paid 4 times more and when you are being charged that much you have higher expectations. The stay did tarnish our weekend away and I'll just go to a premier inn next time. Big disappointment.

Great location for shopping

Location - right next to Bond Street underground exit, next to Disney Store on Bond Street.
Check-in/Check-out: fairly normal. No issues here
Rooms: Premium room was decent enough for 2 people. Only issue was the lack or air conditioning. Even though AC was set at the lowest setting, the room was a sauna.
Bathroom: spacious. The heated rod was a welcome for drying clothes.
Breakfast: special shoutout to Yildiz. She was extremely helpful in making sure everything was alright during the meals.
Overall - great place to stay, if you are planning to shop in Bond Street, Oxford Circus or Picadilly Circus. Soho is walking distance.

Location: right next to Bond Street underground; bang on Bond Street; Oxford Circus underground is about 6mins walk.
Rooms: premium room was fairly spacious. Though I was travelling alone, it was good enough for 2 people. There did seem to an issue with the air conditioning. Despite it being set at a low temp. for cooling, the room was constantly hot (like a sauna).
Bathroom: same as above
Breakfast: typical English breakfast. Special mention to Yilditz. She was very helpful & courteous.
Check-In/Check-Out: no issues here.
Overall - if you have some shoppping to do, this is the best place to stay. Not to far from the business areas (take the Jubilee line).
