Friendly and efficient check-in, with good advice about nearby restaurants and morning airport shuttle reservation. Room modern and clean. King -size bed very comfortable.

Beyond Disappointing

Let me begin by saying I am a Hilton Gold member so it is my preferred hotel chain. But this stay was beyond disappointing. We arrived at about 9pm at Miami airport and waited and waited for the hotel shuttle. Every other Hilton shuttle came by just not this one. Ended up spending $30 for an Uber to the hotel. To add insult to injury, during our stay the phone rang two different times in the middle of the night. I complained about this when checking out and it turns out we weren’t the only ones to get 2 unrequested wake up calls. There is construction going on at the hotel and whether this was to blame for the calls I don’t know, but it did ruin any chance of a good nights sleep. If you are charging $200+ for a room, the hotel needs to do a far better job.

Charming but under construction

Hotel is experiencing renovations; there were times you could hear drills or hammers. We were on the 4th floor and I know the 2nd and 3rd floors were being renovated. Hotel room was clean and spacious. My husband, daughter, son in law and I stayed there two days before our cruise. The shuttle came to pick us up from the airport. Word of the wise: they only come once every half hour and only til 10:30. Luckily we waited about 20 minutes for it. Breakfast was very good and there was a lot of variety- I loved the red velvet waffles! There’s even a cat that lives on property named Hampton coincidentally. All in all it was a good hotel with lots of charm.

Front desk very friendly. Easy check in and shuttle scheduling. Pool area nice and clean. Only complaint is the walls are thin- I could hear the tv next door all night which kept me up at times. They’re remodeling so there’s construction but my floor smelled great as it seemed there was new carpet and wallpaper. I’d stay here again

About 1/3 of the parking lot was full of the hotel’s renovation storage containers. Myself and other customers had to parked across the street in the shopping mall’s parking lot. I was concerned with security for my care.
