Solid Choice for an October Stay

Better than expected for a cabin experience by the LAKE--
The staff are top notch and very friendly even towards end of season. To me BOOK THE CABINS by the LAKE-- for that woodsy, summer camp feel in AUTUMN-
The showers have excellent HOT WATER and PRESSURE-- so that is 5 stars -
The beds are more AVERAGE-- especially if you need a firm bed-- with 2 beds in each of the CABINS-- maybe some of the mattresses could be replaced for FIRM--
the lighting is awful flourescent-- would rather that be replaced or removed and just warm lamps used-- for a warmer cozy feel--
my group was prepped for a "Summer Camp" experience but all seemed to enjoy the experience-- the view over to the big red building was a bit disappointing but that can't be changed--
Overall come in October when it is quieter and you get a good stay at a VALUE price for the foliage season--

The rooms and beach was great very clean and fun. The restaurant food was okay and the staff overall did not care about the customer. Could not get Wi-Fi

We had a beautiful room that overlooked the lake. It was an amazing place to be. The employees were amazing, and when especially good young man from Jamaica, came to build our bonfire on the beach. It was such a memorable time.

The picture is very deceiving. Weirs beach was closed during our visit. The place we stayed was across the road from the location shown. It was clean, but next to the road and very loud. Access was ground floor which was helpful. Ice machine right outside was convenient. In room fridge very loud. We had a delicious breakfast in the restaurant

Not worth the price. One of the desk attendants was abrupt, another woman came and took over, she was great.
Room heavy heavy smell of disinfectant, beds absolute horrible and small, bathroom door did not close, it was also very noisy, it is on a pretty busy street. Would NEVER stay there again.
