Awesome reception!

Our daughter and son-in-law had their wedding reception there over the August 16-17, 2024 weekend. It was wonderful! Chef Herbert gave a top-notch reception and the accommodations were excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our weekendThank you, from the Gordon/Caves.

No answer to messages

Booked on Airbnb, but something felt off with reservation. Tried calling and texting and no answer to find out if we did indeed have a reservation. Called Airbnb they were unable to get ahold of host as well and they cancelled reservation and refunded my money.

FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE.

DO NOT BOOK. We arrived to find the house deserted, dark and freezing cold. The owner did not respond to text (phone goes to voicemail and the mailbox is full). There was no way we could stay there.
Orchard House is spectacular. Go there instead.

Do not stay here

The place is disgusting. Other reviews verify that. Mice, mold, dust, it has it all. On top of it, "chef" Herbert over charged me $1200 for one night, and refuses to make it right and blocked my phone number. Terrible way to do business. Dude is a POS.

SCAM! Greedy Owner Wouldn’t Refund Cancellation and Ignored Me Multiple Times

SCAM!! Wouldn’t cancel my reservation or refund my money. Booked in advance and then couldn’t go. Had to pay full amount upfront. Called repeatedly months and weeks in advance, well over 5 days from check in date to cancel as per the policy stated on website. The owner ignored me, hung up on me, and did not cancel my reservation. I reported to my credit card company for fraud as well as contacted local authorities to report the con-artist.
