Staff was very nice, especially Elizabeth at the front desk. Pool was awesome. Breakfast was Great. Room was clean and very comfortable.

I don’t see well enough to drive through the mountains in the dark. I decide to get a room for the night. I went to the assigned room, opened the door, and a strong smell hit me right away. Before I put my belongings down in the room, I pulled the sheets back. I do that at every Airbnb, motel, or anywhere else I sleep. There was a huge urine stain on the top and sides of the mattress, it was saturated. It was the smell of urine that hit me when I walked in the door. I took a picture and went to the desk. I asked one of the girls if she could step over to the side to talk in private. I didn’t want to say anything in front of the other guests. I was given another room but was never offered a discount or anything to compensate for the inconvenience of having to gather everything and move to another floor. Another thing, there is no way housekeeping changed the sheets on that bed and did not see that; you could smell it in the air. As I know you are well aware, first impressions are very important. I called down to the desk to see where the menu was located so I could order food. The lady at the desk said, “If you can’t find it in the room, you will have to come to the desk and get it.” I had to chuckle. “Room service?” On a positive note, I sat at the bar while the food I ordered was prepared. The waitress and barmaid were awesome.

They did up and over to make my night amazing for the girl i love. The best service and hotel ive ever been in and stayed at.

Meh.
Ladies at front desk were lovely. Very nice. Needed a place to stay mid- two day drive. Initially we were put in 1st floor room. It was awful. Dark depressing and broken white blind did not properly cover window. Outside up light was so bright directly outside window- no way. Went back to front desk and asked for a diff room. They were very nice- accommodating- gave us another room on the second floor. Room was freezing cold when we went in. Temp was set to 60. Yikes. No biggie. We cranked it up. Ultimately was shocked by how dirty and run down the room was. Nicks, scapes, bumps and chips on doors, door ways and walls. Inside lock didn’t work- we had to really push the door to make it hold- this is a must to get fixed- if I had been by myself I would have never stayed in a room without a working inside lock. Dirt and dust in all corners of bathroom- just didn’t feel clean. Towels weren’t folded well. Couldn’t tell if they just weren’t folded well or were not fresh. Checked sheets- they seemed fresh but once I was in bed- I noticed stains on the bed cover- gross. Clearly not changed after each guest. Gross. Hard to sleep after seeing this. Up and out early- hit the road- won’t be staying here again. All other holiday inns we have stayed in along the way have been great. Not sure what’s happening at this one..

Staff who checked me in was rude, made comments that I should not have booked through Expedia, stated that she did not have a room available for what I paid for, could not find my reservation. Our company (employees) booked 8 rooms plus the conference room for the next day to be greeted by a rude employee at check in.
