Great Place when visiting Myrtle Beach

Stayed at the Sheraton Broadway Resort Villas in August while vacationing in Myrtle Beach. This resort was great. Very spacious, with lots to do for everyone. Pools, lazy river, mini golf. Place was very secure. Lots of parking by each unit and the units themselves are very clean and comfortable. Really its like being home away from Home. The only small complaint I would have is that some of the Long-term residence are very protective of the resort and have a lot to say about how vacationing families are enjoying the resort. Location is great.. close to restaurants, boardwalk, 5 mins drive to the beach.. just a bit too long of a walk though.

Great Location Overall - Some Construction Issues

We are staying at this location currently, in unit 840. This is one of the recently remodeled villas and it is very nice overall. The pictures and furnishings have been all updated and the unit is exceptionally clean. Overall, we are very pleased with it and plan to return.
However, whoever was in charge of construction and inspection during the remodeling must have been asleep. I have attached a couple of photographs, showing some very strange things I noted. The door to the master bedroom closes halfway on its own because it is hung totally improper. You will see from the photographs what I’m talking about. Also, the door from the master bedroom to the enclosed porch has a mini blind system installed between interior and exterior glass panels. The blind is in the closed position and there is no way to open it because there should not have been an interior pane of glass installed. Another photograph will show the mechanism for operating the blind is inside the glass and cannot be accessed. Several of the newly installed outlets, which include USB ports, do not work properly due to improper installation.
Again, these construction issues will not stop us from coming here again as overall the unit was totally acceptable and nice. I think they just need a really good facilities manager or construction manager to pay more attention to things during their renovation.

Excellent Stay

I am in the middle of an extended stay at the Sheraton Broadway Villas and am very pleased. I started off in a small 1 bedroom and transferred to a larger one bedroom. The switch was seamless. Staff coordinated the move so I could go from one room to the other without a wait in-between.
The rooms are very comfortable and have been recently renovated. It feels like home with a full kitchen, washer dryer, cable, even a large tub in the larger one bedroom. There are plenty of activities if you want to partake. Large outdoor pool and indoor pool. There is mini-golf, shuffleboard, tennis, pickleball etc. The staff is very friendly and they have a concierge to advise on all Myrtle Beach activities. Since I am here for an extended stay, I had no problem receiving packages. They even have a computer where you can print. The resort has lots of staff to keep the grounds immaculate and are available in case you need anything for your room.
I am already looking forward to my next stay.

The condo was beautiful. Very modern and contemporary, everything was up to date. The design of the room and the furniture was lovely. We felt so at home and at peace. Will most definitely be back.

It was amazing the only thing I wish could have been accommodated was I asked for an additional hour for checkout and it was denied. Every resort/vacation placed that I’ve stayed in would honor the request. But other than that the stay was awesome
