Great value

We booked this hotel last minute, the price was reasonable so we were a little worried. After booking is when I saw all the horrible reviews and was like OH NO! We came prepared with extra sheets and Lysol BUT I have to say we had a pleasant stay. We had a renovated room, it was great besides the hot water taking a while to work in the shower. The pull out sofa bed was brand new, we had to cut the straps to open it lol
The beds were clean and comfortable. The free breakfast in the morning was great, eggs, sausages, French toast sticks and waffles. The lobby is beautiful! A great deal as long as you get a newer room!

A hotel should not be open when it is in renovations

From what I see now it's called Montreal. In January it was in parts and everything was quite chaotic.
The hotel was quite run down and in our room many things were broken and not working. We rented the room with kitchen and it is the first time I see that it has no dishes, glasses, cutlery, absolutely nothing, which made the kitchen totally useless.
Finally the breakfast was terrible, I had nothing but bread, butter, some eggs and bacon (which when finished took time to replenish).

Dismal stay

The hotel is under renovation in different shared areas, which was uncomfortable because everything was full of boxes such as the dining room where you had breakfast. The rooms were really old. The kitchen did not have a single accessory so it is quite useless to put it as a feature as it is not helpful for more than the microwave and refrigerator. The sofa bed sucked. The mattress was really disgusting. The pool was clearly not properly maintained and used excess chlorine. I would not return to this place despite its good location.

Excellent cost benefit

We stayed for 12 nights (1 couple + 3 teenagers), was worried about the reform, but there was no inconvenience, on the contrary the room was clean, no noise or dust.
We stayed in one of the old rooms on the 4th floor. Every day the room was cleaned and the towels changed, the cleaning was done once a week.
The breakfast is excellent, with options of hot dishes (egg, bacon etc), yogurt, juice, coffee, bread, muffins, waffles, cereal and fruit.
The staff is very attentive and asking, as we were in five people, sometimes we had to order additional towels at the reception.
As for the beds, we found the mattress very soft probably because we were in an old room, but the sofa bed was good, though old.
The renovation is almost complete, the renovated room became wider due to the remodel of the antessala.
Anyway, it was 12 quiet and pleasant nights! Thank you to the staff at Sure Stay Plus by Bestwestern Lake Buena Vista

Filthy hotel

I will never stay at this property again! The pullout bed was covered in mold and blood. We were provided no blankets for our beds and the pullout. Next we found mold on the walls and the final straw were the roaches. The manager changed our room and that lock was broken and it took us over a hour to get into the room. This room was better but still had issues. The cleaning people would only make one bed and never left towels. In the end they agreed to refund us 50%! It’s been weeks and we couldn’t get a hold of anyone. Well today we finally did and said they would only refund 50% of one day and proceeded to call us liars. I already put in a claim with my credit card company also am calling the dept of health and the bbb. Do not stay here!!
