A Home Away From Home

Vacation Village is led by excellent Managers. Their staff reflect their strong leadership, friendly, patient, good listeners and well groomed. The units are equipped with everything needed in a kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, and furniture. Repairs or replacements are done quickly and efficiently.
Daily activities are fun and appropriate for all ages. The water aerobics instructor is excellent. Transportation is available to local stores. The grounds are well kept. Love what is being done inside and outside as I come yearly, especially as I see the results of feedback.

Much Potential Waiting to be Realized

Having stayed here before, we were again disappointed that updates were still not made. Maintenance issues appeared this time that we hadn't encountered on previous visits.

Florida Trip

We took the trip to get out of the cold and into the warmth. It was an okay trip. The area was beautiful. The weather was great. The place we stayed was average

Resort Needs a Makeover

Vacation Village resort (Flamingo II) in need of a makeover. Wall carpet stains, outdated furniture (bedroom), slow internet service. Their internet provider, i.e., Hotel Wireless seems unable to manage consistent internet speeds especially at night given that many guests are likely using personal devices to access the internet. Finally, checkin was slow and took over a half hour. Spoke with a Front End Manager and she was unfriendly and unable to provide a suitable unit given my extended stay of 6 weeks. Bedding, i.e., pillows mostly flat and uncomfortable
