Great trip!

Had a great time in Williams AZ! GCR&H was a great hub for visiting the Grand Canyon and seeing the local area. Hotel is more than adequate, train ride is so fun! Our train attendant was wonderful!

Close to Grand canyon with train experience

Great location if you want to visit Grand Canyon and experience locomotive train. Be sure to upgrade to first class or higher it’s worth it
Be ready to eat garbage 100% processed food in breakfast buffet. Not much choice for vegetarians.
Rooms were great comfy but 2nd day had no hot water for 3hrs, very noisy exhaust fan.
FYI all restaurants close by 8pm

Good but now great.

Took my mom and son for the Grand Canyon trip, stayed 3 nights at the Grand Canyon hotel in Williams. At first appearance, very nice. I can't give the hotel a 5 star rating however for the following reasons. Overpriced for the value, beds were very uncomfortable- like sleeping on concrete, blankets were like sheets and it was snowing outside- I froze. Rooms were very small, rooms had a fridge but no microwave. The Fred Harvey restaurant had a nice reasonably priced breakfast buffet, however dinner was way overpriced, food was horrible, and they had some guy playing a guitar and singing with the volume way to loud- and honestly he sucked, so I definitely cannot recommend the Dinner at Fred Harvey. The train ride was very nice and Grans Canyon was amazing- just wish the Hotel was better.

Great way to see the Grand Canyon.

Very nice nostalgic Grand Canyon experience. Enjoyed the entire package. Had one meal at the Fred Harvey and several in old downtown, all good. Several people recommended the Grand Canyon Railroad and I will recommend it to others as well.

Lovely hotel and easy access to train

We loved our stay at the Grand Canyon Hotel. It was clean, comfortable and easy to navigate. The hotel provides easy access to train depot and nearby restaurants.
