My wife and I were looking forward to our holiday in Perth and excited to check into Westin. We were booked for 5 nights. We were checked in by Scott the manager. The room was pleasant and clean. But to our disappointment, after a shower, the toilet was flooded with water from the shower. Water was flowing out from both corners of the floor and the water could not flow down to the drainage in time. I called the front desk and Scott came to survey the issue. He said he will get the engineer to fix the problem. In the meantime we will have to use about 5-6 pieces of thick towels to soak up the water after our shower.
The next day we were out the whole day. When we came back in the evening, thinking the issue has been fixed, my wife took a shower. Unfortunately the issue has not been fixed and the water was all over the floor. I called the front desk and Scott came up again and expressed that he thought it was fixed. So the next day, the engineer fixed the issue by using silicone like a stopper at the two corners of the drainage in order to prevent the water from flowing out, like a dam. The issue was only fixed on the third day. FYI there was still water flowing out, but not as much. Definitely a design fault.
The next incident was when I asked for a tissue box on our fourth night. The gentleman who came by told me that there was no more tissue boxes within the whole hotel. I was shocked and puzzled. My wife stopped me from getting upset, took the empty tissue box down to reception just to get a tissue box.
We are extremely disappointed with the level of customer service especially when we chose Westin our expectations were very high. I understand as a frequent traveler not every hotel experience are perfect , but as for the issues and the experiences we faced above were unacceptable.

We had a lovely couples two night staycation, in club class. The cocktail hour was fun and the pool and gym were good. Buffet breakfast at Garum was good, and it was conveniently located for shopping. The bed and pillows were comfy and the bath was great

They double charged my room even though it was prepaid and the clerk had a hard time figuring it out.
Check-out is noon but they told us it was 11am. We asked for late checkout and they said we can stay until noon but sent someone to knock on our door before noon.
Terrible service in general, staff all seem new or in training.

The room is spacious with a nice big table enough for a family of 4 to gather around. The view from our room was unblocked and the hotel within a short walking distance to the main shopping belt In Perth. It is also relatively near to the lively botonical garden. The main downside for us was the bed was soft.
