A hotel that has a soul, a history...
Perfect personalized welcome. Extraordinary room with plant decor and 2 bathrooms for optimal comfort. Special mention for lobster pasta and just perfect breakfast. And the history of the place that takes us... unforgettable and peaceful in this crazy world.

Warm, welcoming – superb décor.
This was a repeat visit, but the first time in winter. The hotel is located five minutes from the centre of Aix off a very quiet road where you will be undisturbed for a good night’s sleep.
The hotel is a recent addition and is completely renovated with classic French design.
Experience
The hotel is really designed for the warmer months with no real facilities, lounge or otherwise, and due to the lower occupancy, the restaurant is not always open with a room service option only being available.
Despite this, the hotel maintains all of its character and is a lovely location to stay.
The hotel has underground carparking, as well as electric charging facilities.
Rooms
Each room is distinctly styled in a classic French décor.
The first floor rooms are superior for the winter months and they are more light and airy, whilst the ground floor rooms are probably better during the summer, and some have small patios which are quite private with the vegetation surrounding.
One personal frustration I have with the property is that they do not have a standalone coffee machine or teapot which, as the room service is a little distance away, can be frustrating.
Service
The team are very warm and welcoming and make every effort for your comfort.
Most of the team have been with the hotel since opening, as well as the restaurant staff.
All services are provided, but you should be aware that unlike other five star hotels, water is not placed in the room every evening.
Cuisine
Breakfast is served in the lounge adjacent to the main restaurant with an à la carte menu as well as an extensive buffet range.
Despite the hotel being quite quiet, the choice was superb and the quality excellent.
The pool and outdoor patio areas are close to the main restaurant and, during the summer offers a lovely relaxation.
There is a very small Spa where external staff are hired to provide massage treatments, which were excellent. In addition, there is a small gym.
This is an excellent property to stay in if you are visiting Aix or the surrounding areas, better suited for the summer and drier months, but still a superb location with a warm and accommodating team.

The charm works!
He is happy to rub shoulders with hotel excellence and immersion in an art world embellished by subtle decorative touches inspired by a sweet blend of history and fantasy.

Beautiful mansion but ...
The villa, the rooms, the common areas, all very elegant and cozy. But it is absolutely unthinkable that in a five-star luxury structure, at Christmas time, you will find yourself without a bar and without a restaurant for the early closure of the kitchens.
We had a small and basic continental breakfast in the room for two days out of five after buying room with breakfast buffet...
