Lovely Guesthouse in Butzbach!
Right from booking our accommodation, the team at the guesthouse have been so friendly, kind in answering our questions, and giving us truly wonderful service.
On arrival, we were shown to our room, which was on the first floor, it looked towards the mountain and had lovely quiet neighbourhood views, with easy access through a side door on to the road. The room was spacious, warm, clean and modern with a new fresh feel to it.
Bed linen was new and clean, the mattress comfortable and good pillows. There were extra blankets provided should we need them, but the room was comfortably warm at all times.
The bathroom was a great size, and far larger than other hotels / guesthouses we have stayed in. It had a window looking out over the town with a good view, but still had privacy glass. Shower was very clean, with great water pressure!
We opted for breakfast daily, and it was lovely! A good selection of cheese and meats, with freshly boiled eggs and a toaster. There were fresh juices and cereals for those who wanted, and a never ending supply of great coffee.
Overall, a really lovely stay! We didn't have a car so it was a little bit of walk up the hill, but that was entirely on us! A lovely location for access into the surrounding forests and good views! We had drinks in the bar on two occasions, and the evening team was lovely with good recommendations on what to drink!
We didn't sadly have any meals beyond breakfast in the restaurant, but only heard good things, and there were a couple of specials such as Burgers being advertised which looked good!
We will certainly be back, and want to thank Beate and her team for an excellent stay!

Wenn Sie als Gast freundlich behandelt werden wollen, halten Sie sich ans Personal
Verwirrende Eingangssituation, Schellen die kein Gehör finden. Eine freundliche Bedienung, die mir sagt, die Chefin macht mir gleich die Tür auf. Also wieder herum um das Haus. Nichts passiert. Erneut zurück ums Haus und rein in den Gasthof. Da war Sie dann, die Chefin. Ich wurde dann erstmal zusammengefaltet, ob ich nicht lesen könne. Zimmer erst ab 16 h und ich hätte Glück das überhaupt jemand da sei. Mein Versuch zu erklären, ich sei mit dem Motorrad und es gäbe gleich ein ordentliches Unwetter wurde damit abgetan, in Butzbach tröpfelt es ohnehin nur.
Am Ende gab es dann mit Murren einen Zimmerschlüssel schon knapp 2 h vor der Checkin Zeit von 16 h. Hatte zuvor angeboten mir ein Hotel zu suchen, wo ich willkommener bin.
Das tröpfeln kann man auf dem Foto prima sehen. Die Feuerwehr war auch ganz aufgeregt unterwegs die Tröpfchen wieder einzusammeln.
Als ich dann noch im Gastraum war, um einen Kaffee zu bestellen, den mir die freundliche Bedienung gleich brachte, kam ich ungewollt dann noch in den Genuss einer Chefinnen Zurechtweisung der Bedienung, man hätte um 14.30 h Feierabend. Warum Sie noch Gäste bedient. Es war noch eine nassgewordene Familie mit im Gastraum.
Das Zimmer ist modern und funktional!
Egal, was noch passiert, für mich das erste und letzte Mal.

So wie Sie uns am Eingang vom Restaurant angegangen sind, warum im Gästehaus niemand die Tür öffnen würde, und dass Sie bereits seit 10 Minuten an der Tür klingeln, war uns schon klar welches Benehmen Sie an den Tagen legen und das wir mit so einer „Geschichte“ hier zu rechnen haben.
Egal wie wir uns hierzu äußern würden, wäre verkehrt.
Daher möchten wir nur ein Kleinigkeit aufzuzeigen, denn Bilder sagen mehr wie 1000 Worte.

Zum Wohlfühlen!
Das Hotel wurde uns von Freuenden wärmstens empfohlen. Und da die Geburtstagsfeier in er Nähe war, sind wir der Empfehlung gefolgt.
Wir wurden nicht enttäuscht! Alle sind sehr warmherzig und freundlich. Die Liebe zum Detail, die man bereits im Restaurant findet, spiegelt sich auch im Hotel wieder. Es fällt auf, dass die Führung des Hotels sehr auf Sauberkeit und Höflichkeit achtet.
Das Hotel empfehlen wir gerne weiter!
