Nice Hotel not-quite Leipzig

Akzent Hotel in Delitzsch is about 20 minutes from the Leipzip HBF on the DeutscheBahn. Their daytime staff speaks a little English, the night staff none. Our evening call for directions didn't help much. The DB info people got us to Delitzsch, and then we had to hunt. Leaving the train station, go left one block and look for the sign. Grunstrasse is the first right. Go a half block and turn right into a driveway/alley and the hotel is right there.
The rooms are average size, baths larger than average, all nicely furnished, very clean, and pleasant. TV gets only German language stations, no CNN or BBC.
With your room you get a very nice breakfast in a sunny bright restaurant area. Trains run back and forth about every half hour to Leipzig. Don't trust the hotels schedule printout, it's a little outdated.
This is a very nice hotel, just not well located if you want to be doing Leipzig.

What can you expect for 3* in Delitzsch

Decent hotel with 3* standard. Rooms are OK but nothing special. Breakfast ok with a good selection of cold cuts and bread etc. People were very friendly and the hotel is clean! They only serve breakfast - no dinner. Free Wifi.

Nice hotel - not to far from the A8

After driving in line for nearly 8 hours on German highways on our way home from skiing holiday, we gave up to make it home, so we started looking for a hotel not far from the highway. We decided to try Hotel Akzent, where we arrived at. 22 in the evening.
The very friendly and welcoming receptionist gave us quickly two rooms so we could get to bed. The rooms were of a good standard
We had to leave an hour before breakfast so the staff had made ​​a very good takeaway breakfast for us.
The hotel is located about 8 km from the highway and easy to find.
Our best recommendations.

Gutes Frühstück. Hilfsbereites Personal.

Sehr freundliches ,und Hilfsbereites Personal.Ich wurde freundlich Empfangen Ein gutes Frühstück. Nettes Zimmer mit ner kleinen Mini-Bar. Insgesamt machte das Hotel einen netten Eindruck auf mich. Das Hotel liegt ziemlich Zentral.

Wifi ist eine Katastrophe...

... und die Aufbackbrötchen ebenso. Das können die Hotels in Leipzig besser. Dann lieber eine Viertelstunde mit der S-Bahn fahren.
Die anderen Hotels in Delitzsch sind allerdings nicht besser, was leider nur ein schwacher Trost ist.
