It sounds like you had a pretty good stay at the Ibis Styles hotel in Mysore! From what you're describing, the hotel has a modern, youthful vibe with colorful furniture, offering comfort without being overly luxurious. It's great that the hotel is still in good condition since it’s relatively new.
The young staff seems eager to provide good service, but there may be some minor things that need to be ironed out, as you mentioned. Waiting a bit for the room and being a little farther from the center of Mysore might be minor drawbacks, but it seems like they didn't overshadow the overall positive experience.
Would you say the location was still accessible enough, or did you feel the distance from the city center affected your stay?

FABULOUS DESIGNED & GREAT CONCEPT
Extremely comfortable hotel , very well positioned in Mysore to get in and out of the city and the design concept , it's interiors and rooms are fabulous and well crafted ... I simply loved this hotel coming in this portfolio and segment and by far the most trendy hotel in Mysore ... Strongly recommend for both business and families to opt for this property .
Food quality is simply outstanding, though choices may be limited . The Ex Chef is brilliant and will curate your personal choices of food too .. he's a star .
The Experience behind the F&B Manage Suresh says it all and is super efficient in his role , always serving with a smile and there to help ... This hotel is well sorted as far as f&b is concerned .
Front Office team is efficient and can be further improved and enhanced under the able guidance of its Front Office Manage Mr Uttaran who has very good experience and will surely make your arrival and departure experience a pleasure .
The hotel manager would need a bit more refinement to deal with elite guests coming to his new and trendy unit and get more accustomed and get more focussed on the basics as to how to receive and interact with his elite guests, which will make a larger impact on the long run for his betterment and guest voices .
