Disappointing
At check in they take a copy of your passport and retain it. When asked why they say it’s policy. When asked about data security they have no idea about it and cannot relay the data protection policy. Your credit card details and full passport Information are all held in a box file on the desk freely available to any employee who may be interested. It is perfect for identity theft and the hotel are really not interested.
The rooms freshly reflect a 1970’s feel about them.
Breakfast is a joke. When I asked why the scrambled egg is black I was told it was because it is overcooked.
Don’t ask for any variation of yogurt flavour. It ain’t happening.
Reception wait lines are long at check in and check out.
Staff are generally polite and friendly but there is a huge hotel choice in Kingston so I would make this the choice of last resort as I will in the future.

Wonderfull and comfortable place to be
There was live music that week in order to celebrate Bob Marleys birthday, but it was nice and I enjoyed it on the balcony untill I went to sleep.
Personal were good, friendly and helpfull. The reception employees were friendly, also the bartenders, and waiters/waitresses in the restaurant.
I felt comfortable and didn't miss anything. If you go to Kingston and are looking for a good hotel, I'd recommend this one.
