A Truly Exceptional Stay at EQ Hotel Kuala Lumpur – Our Second Visit and Definitely Not the Last!
My wife and I just completed our second stay at EQ Hotel Kuala Lumpur, and once again, it exceeded all expectations. We spent nine wonderful nights here, and from the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and well taken care of.
Everything about this hotel is simply outstanding. The level of service provided is exceptional—every staff member we encountered was warm, professional, and genuinely dedicated to making our stay memorable. The cleanliness of the hotel is remarkable, with every space maintained to the highest standards.
The breakfast each morning was a delight, offering a wide variety of high-quality options that made starting our day a pleasure. Having access to the Club was another highlight, as the food and beverages there were fantastic, and the attentive service made it even better.
One of the standout aspects of EQ is the gym—equipped with top-of-the-line Technogym machines, it’s well-maintained, spacious, and perfect for keeping up with fitness routines. The amenities throughout the hotel are top-notch, but the pool area is truly next level. They’ve upgraded it, and now, while swimming, you can hear music underwater—a unique and relaxing touch. The jacuzzi and saunas were also excellent, adding to the luxurious experience.
The concierge team was incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with anything we needed. A special thank you to Faizal and Sam, who went above and beyond.
The hospitality at the Club was exceptional, thanks to Kirishen, MJ, and Afif, who made our time there so enjoyable. A special mention to Anna, the Club Manager, whose professionalism and warm approach elevated our experience even further.
The bars and restaurants at EQ are outstanding:
• Blue (the rooftop bar) offers breathtaking views of Kuala Lumpur and an excellent atmosphere. A special thank you to Dedi, Iqbal, Boy, and Lyn for their great service and hospitality. A special thank you to David, the manager of Sky51 and Blue, who ensured that every moment we spent there was perfect.
• Bottega (the lobby bar) had a wonderful selection of drinks, and Nicolas was exceptional in making sure we had a great time.
A huge thank you as well to Casper from the front desk—every interaction with him was smooth, friendly, and welcoming. And, of course, we must mention the Director of Customer Experience, who personally ensured that our stay was nothing short of extraordinary. Her efforts truly made a difference.
Everything about EQ Hotel—its service, luxury, ambiance, and attention to detail—makes it an absolute gem in Kuala Lumpur. The view from the hotel is simply breathtaking, adding to the overall charm of the stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the EQ Hotel in Kuala Lumpur, and it exceeded all my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived, the warm and friendly service made me feel right at home. Special mention must go to the bellboys, who were exceptionally courteous and attentive. They greeted me with genuine smiles, assisted with my luggage efficiently, and provided helpful tips about the city.
The rooms were absolutely stunning—spacious, stylishly designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities you could need. The bed was unbelievably comfortable, offering one of the best nights’ sleep I’ve had in ages. Coupled with the stunning view of Kuala Lumpur’s skyline, it was truly a luxurious experience.
The gym at EQ is world-class and a haven for fitness enthusiasts. It’s fully equipped with the latest Technogym equipment, catering to all types of workouts, whether cardio, strength, or functional training. The space is spotless, well-maintained, and an absolute pleasure to use.

Must stay when in KL!
EQ is a wonderful hotel, from the amenities to the staff everything was absolutely a fantastic experience. The Sanctum Spa area is a great place to unwind with a massage, facial or just relaxing by the pool. They also have the best hotel gym I’ve ever seen - even better than some actual gyms back in Seattle. The views from the rooftop are a perfect way to kick off your evenings, grabbing a cocktail while watching the best sunsets.
Lastly, every one of the staff here always went above and beyond with each of our interactions. In particular, we chatted with Sam quite often who was incredibly friendly and helpful. He would always take a moment to talk to us about our plans for the day, offer suggestions and was always mindful to follow up when he saw us later to ask how our experience was. Even if EQ wasn’t as awesome as it was, people like Sam make the stay worthwhile. When we return to KL, this will be where we stay again.
Lastly, every one of the staff here always went above and beyond with each of our interactions. In particular, we chatted with Sam quite often who was incredibly friendly and helpful.
