We always wanted to stay in the Marina area. The Flamingo was a wonderful choice. Beautiful grounds, pool and restaurant/bar.
We loved the view from our balcony.

Pleasantly surprised! A fantastic time!

I won’t lie, we arrived a bit skeptical because we’d read some of the reviews of people complaining. We stayed Sunday to Sunday and honestly have no idea what any of the complaints were about. Is the place a bit older? Yes. But the welcome at the front desk was warm and inviting. They had smiles and explained everything we’d need to know in order to enjoy our stay. Someone helped us with our luggage to the room and he explained the television. (Pay attention to this part, because it works exactly as they explain.) The room was spacious and clean. It doesn’t have a microwave or mini fridge, but it has a lovely bathroom, couch, table and chairs, desk, closet and a safe. We had a fantastic view of the pool, bar, and marina. We did not prepay for the all inclusive package, so we mixed dining with the restaurant here as well as the MANY MANY restaurants and bars within walking distance surrounding the marina. Our last day here I asked how much the all inclusive was for the day and I was SHOCKED at how much money we would’ve saved if we had just done that to start with. Thankfully, they do sell it by the day- so we enjoyed our last day here with all we could eat food and alcohol. Our housekeeping service was fantastic. We left a small tip every day on our bed for her, but only 40/50 pesos- and our room was made up like we were royalty. The bartenders, wait staff, and entertainment crew were also as friendly as the front desk. We’ve had a fantastic time and if we come back to Puerto Vallarta, we will gladly stay here again.

I would look somewhere else. Hotel is old and not taken care of well. WiFi sucks bad. No English Channel on tv..

Working all around hotel. Construction next door to me. Terrible paint job.cement cracks everywhere. Hotel is old. Needs to be torn down and rebuilt. 3 floors down u can hear people. Doors slammed two floors away. Cement. Is not good at quieting noise. Food decent. Grounds ok. I’d look for better. Marriot beautiful. But to much money.

This hotel steals your money

This Flamingo Hotel double charges your credit card, and does not want to return your money to you. They bet you won't notice or they just don't care if you do. Do not stay at this hotel unless you like to be cheated as a gringo on your holiday in Mexico.

The Bartender Is Phenomenal!!!!

Vladimir the bartender at Flamingo Vallarta, is nice, respectable, and the most friendly person we have been around. He makes the time great, and is an exceptional bartender. We thank him and appreciate Flamingo for hiring him. He made our birthday night special and we hope he stays for the forseeable future. Thanks Vlad!
