Disappointing experience, pity
specified that on the spot, "it can only be done like this"! It is therefore up to the customer to move to another reception! Moreover, noise in the corridors in the evening, but no one from the reception to notice, because no staff, so no one to end it!
For breakfast, same problem, you have to go out to eat at the Peace Pension, next door. Unfortunately for us, on those days it rained, so umbrella to go to the other building. It's not my idea of a lunch room...
At our entrance, no warm welcome, or even personalized at this reception, just a question to ask our room number...
Finally, by taking a studio rental and breakfast at the café next door, on a famous rental platform for 1 or 2 nights, we would have had the same service, certainly for less.... I regret this conception of the Pension, without human interaction, while the Pension Ambassador where we were , has suitable premises for breakfast. This precision of having to go out on the street to have breakfast is not mentioned in the Reservation Description...
This experience really disappoints me about the quality of the Swiss hotel welcome.

Herzlichen dank für ihre bewertung und ihren kommentar über unser hotel. Ja im sommer kann es in der stadt luzern auch etwas wärmer werden. Wir haben in jedem Hotelzimmer einen ventilator um ihnen etwas frische luft ins zimmer zu geben. Unserid ist auch dass wir nicht zusätzliche energie und rohstoffe verschwenden sollten setzen in diesem falle auf grüne Klimaanlage. Unsere hotel ist ideal platziert und wir hoffen sie vielleicht schon bald wieder bei uns begrüssen und verwöhnen zu dürfen.

Decent Hotel- could be better
Location is great- walking distance to the station, lion monument and the Chapel bridge.
Now coming to the not so great parts:
1) At the time of booking, I did not notice that the room has no air conditioning. Please check that before you book. Travelers from the US assume air conditioning is available everywhere. The room temperature was okay after left the window open (but that exposes you to the noise from the street below)
2) The bathroom exhaust did not work well. Not acceptable in my opinion.
3) The Hotel does not have anyone at the reception. The reception is at Hotel de la Paix which very close (apparantly the two hotels have a commmon management). This is a slight inconvenience

Aus self checken hotel ist es selbstverständlich dass sie beim einschecken keine mitarbeiter sehen. Es kann gut möglich sein dass sie die mitarbeiter bei der reinigung und selbstverständlich beim frühstück dann treffen ich hoffe dass dies so passiert ist denn sie werden sie alle mit einem lächeln begrüssen.
Ja wir haben keine klimaanlage, Wir haben uns dazu entschlossen in jedes zimmer einen ventilator zu platzieren um während den heißen sommertagen etwas mehr komfort für unsere gäste zu bieten. Natürlich hört man den strassenlärm bei geöffnetem fenste Dies hatte es so an sich wenn man ein hotel in herzender statt bucht. Dafür sind sie in nur wenigen oder kurzen schritten gleich im zentrum und im ort des geschehens von Luzern. Wer wird uns sehr freuen sie bei einer anderen klebenheit wieder bei uns willkommen zu heißen und wir wünschen ihnen jetzt schon eine gute anreise.
