Daughter's 16th birthday blast

I have booked my daughter's 16th birthday party at the Wivenhoe House. And what an amazing experience. From the first contact with Lisa (events planner) to the actual event day (duty manager Sam) all involved staff at the hotel were just outstanding. Nothing was too much trouble, always checking on the party making sure everyone are happy. Food was very nice, all teenagers had pizza's, chips and salad. Accompanied by drinks like water, juice, coke. Venue also provided the sound system so I did not had to worry about hiring a DJ. The room itself was so beautiful, all linen, cutlery, buffet table, gift table, sweet table were provided. This is not just a venue, it's just a wonderful experience overall. I know I will be definitely coming back to organise my daughter's 18th and other wonderful celebrations. Thank you everyone at Wivenhoe House for making my daughter's birthday so special.

Beautiful stay. 10/10

Me and my partner came here to celebrate his birthday and I am so glad that we did. What a beautiful place! The room was absolutely incredible. The food was delicious & the staff went above and beyond to us. Thank you to everyone at Wivenhoe house for such an enjoyable stay.

A gem of a hotel, just outside Colchester, Essex. In gorgeous surroundings. This hotel is well worth a visit.

Exceptional stay at WHH.
A most welcoming and warming visit.
Excellent facilities.
Very helpful and friendly staff.
Very good value too.
The food was lovely, and the chef took care of any amendments to my order.
The rooms are very well furnished, comfortable and very clean.

Park Brasserie Lunch

We visited the Park Brasserie for lunch. We all enjoyed our meal. They were able to cater for vegetarian, vegan, gluten free and sugar free if required. We were lucky that Mo our favourite waitress was on duty. She is very efficient, makes sure everything is perfect, and is a lot of fun to interact with. She is the main reason we return to the restaurant.

Great restaurant with a brilliant team of staff

I visit the restaurant regularly with friends. The food is excellent, the staff are knowledgeable and attentative and the venue is beautiful. Mo, our wonderful waitress, was, as always friendly and kind and nothing was too much trouble for her with our vegan and gluten free dietary requirements. THANK YOU!
