In regards to the room, even though it’s near a highway, it was very quiet.

Dirty Hollister Hotel

The place was dirty and in desperate need of repair and upgrades. It’s clear there is no care taken when cleaning these rooms or even for repairing! The manager was rude and unwilling to work with us when we tried to cancel the room since our children and special needs child was uncomfortable to stay there.

The breakfast was poor quality and didnt have good options. The "OJ" was clear. Beds werent comfortable. In the shower there were two bottles of body wash (which was the same as the so called hand wash next to the sink) and no shampoo or conditioner. There were eyelashes stuck to the mirror which means it clearly wasnt cleaned (i took a picture but this review wont let me add it). The TV was very hard to manage, couldnt type in a channel, had to scroll one by one. There was another occupant who was screaming all night. The only positive thing i can say is that 2 out of the 3 staff i dealt with were extremely friendly, Chawntell (i am so sorry I'm sure i spelled that incorrectly) and Kevin. I dealt with Chawntell at night when i checked in. She had a smile on her face and was friendly and helpful. I dealt with Kevin at breakfast the following morning. He was also very friendly and wish he had been the one to check us out. He patiently answered our questions. I'm pretty sure all the poor things i mentioned are things beyond these two employees control, so i hope this review doesnt reflect badly on them

Room was not great for $172/nt. Cigarette burns in the carpet, and everything was dusty. We requested rooms near each other, they were on opposite sides. Breakfast was ok but the room barely fit 10 people and was already full.
